We are working with the Silver gene, which produces a white undercoat in order to get some of the more rare colors of silver tabby, silver ticked, shaded silver, silver patched (silver/cream), red/cream/shell cameo, and blue/blue-cream/black/tortie smokes. This gives a sparkling appearance to the coat.

We have decided to discontinue our British Shorthair breeding program. We have black & silver Brits and they will be used in our Scottish Fold breeding program, as they are allowable outcrosses. **** If you like Brits, you may like to consider a straight-eared Scottish Fold **** as they are very comparable in temperament, looks & size, and most have British or American Shorthair in their background.
